Comedy actor turned director with two successful films ‘Aramane and Sanju Weds Geetha’ Nagashekhar is back to his original route of singing. He came to Bengaluru with Ravishanker (also an actor today) in 1996 with a dream of becoming singer.

Nagashekar inevitably took comedy roles and found it good. He continued as comedy actor for a long time and from ‘Aramane’ in 2009 he became a director and proved as the film starring Ganesh and Roma, in Sanju Weds Geetha Nagashekhar established his position as director and that too completed 100 days starring Ramya and Srinagara Kitty.

Now the 15 years dream of Nagashekhar is materialized via a song in Gowri Puthra Kannada cinema in which he plays the blind radio Jackie. Avakasha Kanasu Idddare Horata Kathe Dikku Bere….Yarigo Yaranno Serisuva…..is the song line of Nagashekar. Milind Dharmasena has composed the songs in ‘Gowri Puthra’ cinema.
